I’m sure you have heard it, the scam of affiliate marketing.  And all about the affiliate scams.  My friend once tried one of the affiliate marketing programs, and he had no luck.  He managed to make around $50, on a $80 item.  But is affiliate marketing the same for everyone?  The answer is simply, no.  In affiliate marketing, you get what you put into it.  If you are thinking it is some get rich quick scheme, you will be severely disappointed.  You do have to work to be an affiliate marketer.  It takes hours upon hours to be successful, and then finally, after a few months, you are able to kick back and watch the money flow in.  But first let me tell you about myself:

I started testing marketing back in college.  I wanted a job where I could work mininal hours and focus on my studies, but I needed a good income.  So I was able to find a way, after being scammed.  I now sit here, writing this blog.  I’m in my house, wearing a cut off sleeved shirt and shorts, along with some slip on shoes. I do not make a million dollars every year, I do not drive a lamborghini.  As a matter of fact, I just got the shoes I’m wearing at payless, for $3.  But the truth is, I make a full time income, as much as most people make each year, in one month.  I’m on my way to being a millionaire, but I’m not exactly there yet.

Affiliate programs offer some help, but I’m here to offer the extra push that they forget.  I am sick of my friends and others thinking they cannot be an affiliate marketer.  It is easy, given the right tools and a drive to succeed.  So daily there will be a new lesson in affiliate marketing, and marketing in general.  Subscribe to get the latest, I will do my best to always help.
